Step by Step Operation Process

Rhinoplasty surgery continues for 2-3 hours depending on the method used by the doctor and the patient’s condition. The common steps in nose surgery are listed below.

 

1. Anesthesia 

The type of anesthesia used in rhinoplasty varies based on individual needs. General anesthesia is often preferred to ensure patient comfort and pain management during the procedure.

2. Surgical Procedure

After administering the necessary anesthesia, the surgeon begins the operation, following the planned surgical approach.

3. Tampon

Post-surgery, nasal tissue is protected. Incisions are typically covered with a splint, and a nasal tampon may be applied to stabilize the nose.

 

ARRIVAL

 

Day 1

• Patient arrival, greeted by an English-speaking assistant, and accommodation at a hotel.

• Initial consultation with the doctor.

• Hospital tests and assessments.

 

Day 2​​

• Morning admission to the hospital.

• Consultation with the anesthesiologist and rhinoplasty surgeon.

• Transfer to the operating room for surgery under general anesthesia (2 to 4 hours).

 

Post-operative monitoring in hospital under medical supervision.

 

Day 3

• Morning check-up with the doctor, discharge from the hospital, and return to the hotel.

• Issuance of discharge summary, medications, and instructions for post-operative care.

• Accommodation in the hotel under medical supervision for 4 to 5 days.

 

Day 4 to Day 6

• Daily visits from medical staff for bandage changes and monitoring.

Day 7

• Final examination with the doctor.

• Removal of nasal tampons and splints.
